Today is Day 1 of your safari and we’re kicking off the adventure with a transfer to Lake Mburo National Park. You’re in for a treat as you sit back and relax during the scenic 4-hour drive, taking in the stunning landscapes and passing by royal drum makers. Don’t forget to experience the equator along the way!
You will arrive at the park in the afternoon, where you will enjoy a delicious lunch before embarking on an exciting game drive. Get ready to spot some incredible wildlife and immerse yourself in the beauty of Lake the Park.
Early in the morning, you will embark on a thrilling game drive through the park in search of amazing animals. Get your cameras ready as you may spot some of the most iconic animals such as Ugandan kob, zebras, impalas, elephants, and buffaloes.
The park offers a unique opportunity to get up close and personal with these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat. You will be amazed at how beautiful and majestic they are.
After the game drive, you will continue your journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park. While en route, you will enjoy a delicious lunch and take in the stunning scenery. At sun set, you will arrive at your lodge where you will relax after an exhilarating day.
Start your day early with a game drive, where you’ll have the opportunity to spot a variety of animals including buffaloes, lions, elephants, hyenas, zebras and more. The early morning light provides a beautiful setting for viewing these amazing creatures in their natural habitat.
After the game drive, head back to your lodge for a late breakfast and lunch. Take some time to relax and recharge before your next adventure.
In the afternoon, embark on a boat ride along the Kazinga channel. This unharried cruise will offer you the chance to see hippos and buffaloes up close, as well as a plethora of birds including both residents and migrants.
Before you hit the road, start your day off right with a delicious breakfast. Then, check out of your accommodations and begin your journey back to the city.
As you make your way towards Kampala, take some time to stop in Mbarara for a tasty lunch. This charming town has plenty of great restaurants and cafes to choose from, so you’re sure to find something that suits your taste buds.
After you’ve had your fill, hop back in the car and continue on to Kampala. You should arrive in the late afternoon, giving you plenty of time to settle in and prepare for the next leg of your journey.
